  • 2016 Wine Stroll: Friday September 23-10th Year Anniversary: kirkwoodwinestroll@gmail.com

    • KirkwoodWineStroll.com  $50 week of event. We have 776 tickets sold as of 9/16. Goal is 1500 tickets sold.

      • 897 tickets sold to date as of 9/20

  • Wine Pouring Stations: 36 confirmed! + 2 info booths=38 stops.

  • Food Tasting Stations (9): $2 per ticket for food bites from The Pullman, Dish Dive, Kirkyard
    Urban Pie, Elmyriachi, Sun in my Belly, Spotted Trotter, Anna's BBQ, Taproom

    • No food at pouring stations this year.

  • Wine Pouring Station Pick Up & Tasting: Tuesday September 20th 7-9pm @ the Kirkyard

      • Event from: 11-3pm

    • Will get digital materials to distribute to KBOA members and social media.

    • Non-profit to support resources and programs

    • Partnerships, volunteers needed.

    • Family and Community dinner night- Eagle Giving Tree kick off - $5 per person or sponsor a family. Donate for raffle. March 2017 Silent Auction- donations, service at the event.  Dine Out night- 10% back to Drew Charter PTA

  • 2017 Start: ME cohort:  Looking to start or grow your business in East Lake and neighboring Kirkwood? Start:ME is a free, intensive 14 week business accelerator for micro-entrepreneurs (businesses with 1-4 employees) running from January through May of 2017 that provides the business training, mentorship support and loan fund capital needed to develop small businesses.  The program is delivered by Emory University’s Goizueta Business and the The East Lake Foundation in partnership with PNC Bank, Drew Charter School, East Lake Neighborhood Community Association (ELNCA) and Kirkwood Neighbors’ Organization (KNO).  In addition to entrepreneurs, Start:ME is recruiting business leaders to serve as volunteer mentors for participating businesses.  Applications for the 2017 program open on October 1 and close on November 15th.  For more information on the program including upcoming information sessions, please visit www.startmeaccelerator.org  or contact the East Lake Program Coordinator Joi Jackson (jjackson@eastlakefoundation.org or 404-974-4507).
