11:25: Community Discussion: How do we increase income to give back more?

  • 2020 Budget is in progress. To be able to support Kirkwood Cares/Neighbor in Need, StartME Microgrant, and other events on an ongoing basis, we need to raise more money.  Some Ideas:

    • Increase the pouring/food station fee to $200. 55 @ $150 = $8,250 | 55 @ $200 =$11,000 There were no objections to increase pouring station to $200

    • Break for vendors who want both food & pouring (package deal)

    • Have food vendors stay open 30 min after pouring stations close

    • Have food vendors increase their inventory

    • Increase the early bird ticket price by $5. 400@$30=$12,000 | 400 @$35 = $14,000

      • $2750 + $2000 = $4750.00 (Could fund both mirogrants annually)

      • One objection to increase tickets to $35

      • We will take it back to figure out where the increase should go
