Dekalb Avenue Construction Project begins in January! Recently the Atlanta Department of Transportation hosted a public engagement meeting to discuss the Dekalb Avenue Safety Improvements project as well as the Department of Watershed Management’s Safety Improvement Storm water project. These long-awaited improvements will begin in January and will be occurring simultaneously. ATLDOT's website.

The northbound lane (east curb) of Norwood Avenue NE in between Emery Pl and Delano drive will also be closed the 17th-20th with the southbound lane (west curb) remaining open to motorists and pedestrians.

A full street closure of Norwood Avenue NE in between Emery Pl and Delano will be in effect from 4pm Friday, the 19th until 4am Saturday the 20th. Motorists will not be able to get through except for homeowners during this time.
